Bahrain reiterated, Monday in New York, its “steady” position in support for Morocco’s territorial integrity.
“The Kingdom of Bahrain reaffirms its steady and consistent support and solidarity with the Kingdom of Morocco in preserving its security and territorial integrity,” Bahrain’s representative affirmed before members of the 4th Committee of the United Nations General Assembly.
The diplomat emphasized that her country reiterates its support for Morocco’s serious efforts to find a political solution to the Moroccan Sahara issue, based on the Autonomy initiative and within the framework of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Bahraini diplomat also welcomed the UN Secretary-General’s efforts to achieve a realistic, pragmatic, and lasting political solution, based on compromise and within the framework of Morocco’s national sovereignty.
