National Security Advisor of Iraq Reiterates Support for Morocco’s Territorial Integrity

National Security Advisor of the Republic of Iraq Qassem Al-Araji reiterated on Monday in Rabat his country’s position in support of the Kingdom’s territorial integrity.

Speaking at a press briefing following his talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita, Al-Araji said that the meeting provided an opportunity to address several regional issues, adding that “dialogue and diplomatic action are the basis for resolving all issues and disputes”.

The two sides also discussed matters of common interest, emphasizing the deep-rooted and enduring relations between the Moroccan and Iraqi peoples, as well as the importance of strengthening bilateral relations, which remain “strategic and long-standing as we are working to develop them further”, he added.
