GCC Countries Reiterate Continued Support for Morocco’s Territorial Integrity

The leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries reiterated, Tuesday in Doha, their continued support for Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over its Sahara, and the kingdom’s security and stability.

  In their final communiqué following the 44th Session of the GCC Supreme Council, held under Qatar’s presidency, the leaders of the member States welcomed Security Council resolution 2703 of October 30, 2023 on the Moroccan Sahara issue.

They also underlined the importance of the privileged strategic GCC-Morocco partnership and the implementation of the joint action plan.

The GCC Supreme Council also congratulated the Kingdom following FIFA’s decision to name Morocco, Spain and Portugal as joint hosts of the 2030 World Cup.
