Liberia reaffirmed, Tuesday in New York, its support for the Autonomy initiative presented by Morocco in 2007 with a view to reaching a final solution to the regional dispute over its Sahara.

Speaking before the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly, Liberia’s Representative affirmed that the Moroccan Initiative, which “aligns with Security Council guidance,” enjoys “broad international support.”
