Speaker of the Congress of the Republic of Peru, Eduardo Salhuana Cavides, reiterated, on Monday in Rabat, support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco and the autonomy proposal presented by Morocco as the sole solution to the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.
During his meeting with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami, Salhuana Cavides commended the level of cooperation ties between the two countries and the long-standing friendship bonds uniting them. He also noted that the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Peru share several values like democracy, human rights and freedom advocacy, and attachment to peace and stability, the Lower House said in a press release.
The Peruvian Congress Speaker also noted the keenness of his country to benefit from the Moroccan experience and leadership in several areas where the Kingdom has become a role model under the enlightened leadership and vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the same source added.
For his part, Talbi El Alami expressed his thanks for the positive stance of the Peruvian Congress in support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco and the autonomy proposal presented to resolve the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.
In the same respect, Talbi El Alami shed light on the grand development projects launched by the Kingdom of Morocco under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, noting the various manifestations of development and advancement the Kingdom witnesses, particularly in its southern provinces.
