Moroccan Sahara: Lebanon Reaffirms Its Support for Morocco’s Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity

Lebanon reiterated on Tuesday its position in support of Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over its entire territory.

This stance was expressed during a meeting between the Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Rajji, and His Majesty the King’s Ambassador to Lebanon, M’hamed Grine.

The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on its official account on the platform X that the meeting allowed for “exploring ways to promote and strengthen relations between the two countries across all fields, as well as the latest developments concerning the Sahara issue.”

On this occasion, Minister Youssef Rajji reaffirmed “Lebanon’s consistent position in favor of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco and its territorial integrity.”

For his part, Grine emphasized in a statement to MAP that the talks took place in a climate of full understanding, adding that they provided an opportunity to review bilateral relations, prospects for their strengthening and development, as well as other matters of common interest.
